About Me

Hi, I'm Jon. As you might have guessed, I have a passion for math, science, and various technical topics.

Within these fields, I have a special interest in applied math, physics, robotics, and dynamic system control. The practical applications of math and physics are both remarkable and beautiful. As for robots, they're fascinating, complex, multi-disciplinary marvels that never cease to amaze me!

My Goal

It's common for students to dislike and become frustrated with math and science. These subjects are often seen as some of the most demanding and complex, and if not explained well, they can feel that way. But it doesn't have to be like this. Imagine, for a moment, that these subjects weren't so daunting — concepts made sense, homework didn't take hours, and exams felt manageable. That's where I come in.

I work with each student individually, tailoring sessions to maximize learning and understanding. I recognize the difficulties because, at some point, I've had the same questions. I'll explain topics in a way I wish my instructors had when I was learning which, hopefully, saves you countless hours of time and frustration.

Location & Service Area

I'm based in the southwest metro area. To reach as many students as possible, I've focused my in-person sessions to a handful of convenient locations which you'll find listed on the Tutoring and Classes pages. Remote/online sessions are always an option as well!

• 130+ additional graduate credits spanning various engineering disciplines, mathematics, & computer science.
• Continuous, self-directed study of whatever new topic or project happens to catch my limited attention. Until the curiosity (or caffeine) runs dry, that is, and I move on to the next...
